The Bridge Inn

Having stayed here before I knew the location and facilities were good. The room was a really good size, matched the photo and the price excellent. It's not the Ritz but it is a decent, clean hotel. Unlike some the description actually matches. Very helpful staff. Parking was easy too, although not on the hotels property, I could park very cheaply next door like they said, unlike some hotels which claim to have local parking but don't at all.

My room was really large for what I paid, and the beds were comfy. The Bridge Inn itself was near to the train station and was well situated. Being above a bar, there was easy access to food and drink, and the Thai restaurant it sits above was really delicious. Wifi worked well and I had all the usual facilities. Towels, shampoo, a kettle, television, lamp and fan were all out in the room for me to use. Great place and would use again.

The bedroom and showers are clean. Bedroom is big and well lit. Bed is comfortable. Staff is professional. Price matches the quality of stay. Bus stops nearby connecting the inn to the rest of the city.

Ease of late night access.

Helen the landlady was very accommodating and the staff polite and helpful. There are good frequent bus links and it's only a two minute walk to the station. Also the kids enjoyed the direct scenic ride into central London on the overground train.
